Unlike the Farmhouse though, the Asylum's narrow halls and multiple floors make it a true maze to navigate. The Asylum plays very similarly to the first map, the Farmhouse. It wouldn't be a scary game without an abandoned hospital or asylum. These factors make the Inn one of, if not the hardest, map in the game! If stealing the eggs wasn't enough, the boss enemy of this map also randomly webs off hallways, forcing players to use valuable UV charge just to clear a path. This can really set back the momentum of the players and in Devour, quick objective completion is key to winning. If a spider steals a cleansed egg, it will become cursed again, forcing players to take it back to the cleansing pool. Unfortunately, gathering items in one location can be pretty tough on this map thanks to the roaming spider mobs. Destroying ten eggs is the primary objective of this map. This egg must then be matched with an altar with the same symbol to completely destroy the egg. Cleansing an egg will reveal a symbol on the egg.

On this map, players have to gather cursed eggs and cleanse them in pools. The giant spiders on this map will actually steal the players' objective items! While every map has mobs that spawn to attack players, the Inn's mobs are actually more than small annoyances that have to be avoided. Players go back and forth on whether the Inn or the Town is the harder, but the devious mobs of the Inn often tip the scales. Or even worse, having only one door unlocked while another one is still locked, which could lead to an unfortunate end.The Inn is one of the hardest maps in the game. Nothing worse than having the office or library locked until the endgame. If you grab a key, pay attention to which one it is, and make sure to unlock that door as soon as you can. Learn which keys there are and what doors they open. 9/10 I am completely safe, running nightmare matches without getting grabbed once. She will literally bump into you at times and not grab you. It is often the safest method to just crouch in the dark and not move at all.I use the UV only to strategically remove some of the demons that I know will become problems eventually. At this point, I use the flashlight rarely when I need to pinpoint a door or something.Making the flashlight not only useless but counterproductive. Further testing shows that you can definitely become completely invisible to her most of the time.Trying to calm her down excessively will cost you time and resources. If it works, it’s only for short moments.

Also starting from Goat #7 I would not rely on calming her down at all.Stunning her when goat 9 is burned requires optimal conditions or she will catch you.From experience, I would stun and run when goat 7-8 is burned.Thus it is quite obvious that calming her down is not a reliable option. On Nightmare mode you do not even get a UV light so stunning her or thinking about calming her down is not an option at all.Goats 7-9 and you’re gambling with your life.Goats 4-6 might take two stuns or more to calm her down.The more goats sacrificed the harder it gets to calm her. Calming her down depends on the number of goats sacrificed.You can lure goats into a room and lock them inside for easy access later.She grows horns after burning the 6th goat, indicating that she is more aggressive.

Making the game rather easy with a full group with one guy dedicated to finding medkits and killing demons.All items spawn infinitely (as of the current patch, if they do not then it is a bug).The conditions of her seeking you out and actually finding you are yet unclear. Hiding in a room with fleshlight off sometimes causes her to run past you, so it’s not always advisable to panic.They don’t have to be collected in a single run.
